രാജ്യത്ത് വാണിജ്യ എൽപിജി സിലിണ്ടറുകളുടെ വില വീണ്ടും കുത്തനെ ഉയർന്നു. 19 കിലോ സിലിണ്ടറിന് 195.50 രൂപയാണ് ഒറ്റയടിക്ക് കൂട്ടിയത്. ഇതോടെ കൊച്ചിയിൽ സിലിണ്ടറിന് 2,092 രൂപയായി. ആഗോള എണ്ണവില വർധനയും പശ്ചിമേഷ്യയിലെ സംഘർഷവും വിതരണ തടസവും വിലക്കയറ്റത്തിന് കാരണമായതായി റിപ്പോർട്ടുകൾ പറയുന്നു.
ഈ വർധന ഹോട്ടലുകൾ, റെസ്റ്റോറന്റുകൾ ഉൾപ്പെടെയുള്ള വ്യാപാര മേഖലയെ ഗുരുതരമായി ബാധിക്കും. സംസ്ഥാനത്ത് ഇതിനോടകം നിരവധി ഹോട്ടലുകൾ പ്രവർത്തനം നിർത്തിയ സാഹചര്യത്തിൽ ഭക്ഷണവില കൂടാനും സാധ്യതയുണ്ട്. അതേസമയം ഗാർഹിക സിലിണ്ടറുകളുടെ വിലയിൽ മാറ്റമില്ല.
Commercial LPG cylinder prices have been sharply increased across India, with a hike of ₹195.50 for a 19 kg cylinder. In Kochi, the price has risen to ₹2,092. The surge is attributed to global crude oil price volatility and supply disruptions amid West Asian tensions.
