Thiruvananthapuram: പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി Narendra Modiയുടെ റോഡ് ഷോയ്ക്കിടെ സുരക്ഷാ പരിശോധന ശക്തമാക്കിയ സാഹചര്യത്തിൽ പെപ്പർ സ്പ്രേയുമായി എത്തിയ യുവാവിനെ പൊലീസ് കസ്റ്റഡിയിലെടുത്തു. ശനിയാഴ്ച വൈകിട്ട് അഞ്ചരയോടെയാണ് സംഭവം.
കൽപ്പാളയം ജംക്ഷൻ ഭാഗത്ത് നടത്തിയ പരിശോധനയ്ക്കിടെ യുവാവിന്റെ കൈവശമുണ്ടായിരുന്ന സ്പ്രേ കുപ്പി ബോംബ് സ്ക്വാഡ് കണ്ടെത്തുകയായിരുന്നു. തുടർന്ന് ഇയാളെ Karamana Police Stationിലേക്ക് മാറ്റി ചോദ്യം ചെയ്യൽ തുടരുകയാണ്.
സ്പ്രേ സഹോദരിക്ക് നൽകാനായി കൊണ്ടുവന്നതാണെന്ന് യുവാവ് മൊഴി നൽകിയതായി പൊലീസ് അറിയിച്ചു. ഇയാളുടെ മാനസികാവസ്ഥയും പരിശോധിച്ചുവരുന്നതായി ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥർ പറഞ്ഞു.
A youth was detained in Thiruvananthapuram during Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s roadshow after police found pepper spray in his possession during security checks. The incident occurred near Kalppalayam junction. The youth claimed the spray was meant for his sister. Police have taken him to Karamana Police Station and are further investigating, including assessing his mental condition.
