Kushinagarയിൽ രാത്രിയിൽ വീടിനുള്ളിൽ കയറി അമ്മയ്ക്കും മകൾക്കും നേരെ ആസിഡ് ആക്രമണം നടന്നു. ആക്രമണത്തിൽ ഗുരുതരമായി പൊള്ളലേറ്റ 23-കാരിയായ കാജൽ ചികിത്സയ്ക്കിടെ മരിച്ചു. സംഭവത്തിൽ കാജലിന്റെ അമ്മ ലീലാവതി ദേവി (58) ഗുരുതരാവസ്ഥയിൽ ആശുപത്രിയിൽ തുടരുന്നു.
പോലീസിന്റെ വിവരങ്ങൾ പ്രകാരം, ഉറങ്ങിക്കിടന്നിരിക്കെ മേൽക്കൂര വഴിയാണ് അജ്ഞാതൻ വീടിനുള്ളിൽ കടന്നത്. തുടർന്ന് ഇരുവരുടെയും മേൽ ആസിഡ് ഒഴിച്ച് രക്ഷപ്പെടുകയായിരുന്നു. സംഭവത്തിൽ പൊലീസ് അന്വേഷണം ആരംഭിച്ചിരിക്കുകയാണ്. ആക്രമണത്തിന് പിന്നിലെ കാരണം ഇതുവരെ വ്യക്തമല്ല.
A 23-year-old woman died after an acid attack at her home in Kushinagar. The attacker allegedly entered the house through the roof at night and poured acid on the woman and her mother while they were asleep. The victim succumbed to her injuries, while her 58-year-old mother remains in critical condition. Police have launched an investigation, and the motive is still unknown.
